Renegade 404 is a platform 2D shooter that incentivises speedrunning.

Far into the future, the underground corporation D.o.D.G.E. (Depot of Destruction, Globally, Everywhere) has been developing robotic manpower for militaries worldwide. 

Their goal is to achieve international peace through violence, and you are one of their many robots in development. You are designed to shoot targets... but with the "help" of a malware virus affecting you, you have a new objective.

Anything that moves is now your target.
